My name is Laura.
I am a Pittsburgh native who moved to a decidedly non-Pittsburgh location in 2012 after getting married. I consider myself extremely fortunate, and began teaching public school in 2009. I can distinctly remember telling my mother that I was going to be a teacher in 5th grade, and I'm so thrilled to do something I love. I married a yeti, and together we have two adorable fur-children.
My background is in elementary education, reading and language arts, and general chaos.

To Fetch A Thief (a Chet and Bernie mystery series)
If you love mysteries and/or love dogs this series can't be beat. This lighthearted detective duo solves crimes, but the hilarious and endearing part of this series is that the entire crime-solving detective work is told from the perspective of Chet, the dog.
